ADHD

For those of us who have adhd you’ll know it’s a very “busy head space” thing.  There are various ever-present traits of the adhd brain which include being easily distracted, forgetful … and er stuff …

So anyway I wanted to illustrate how chokka block my own mind is most of the time, overflowing with memories, emotions and various issues which burst in and out every second and cascade around willy nilly causing me, and many like me, to experience all the typical symptoms of this condition.  It is a humorous illustration filled with many of the the things of my life which I have experienced, remember or are of interest to me or mean something to me in one way or another.

For me as an artist the best trait of adhd is hyper focus which allows me to concentrate on detailed pictures for so long at a time into which all the miniscule bits are created.  I may not be Captain America but hyper focus is my superpower!
