The Tower of Nod

Trees offer a wealth of opportunity for the imagination to run its creative course.  I wanted to design something which had become inhabited by all manner of fantastical elements to make a sort of vertical living community.  For the coloured version I have used very earthy tones because they work so well together and help bring alive an organic feel to the composition – there are just a few added extras in the coloured version which do not appear in the black and white.

Both versions however are stories in art form, waiting to be told a dozen different ways by each eye that sees them, and that’s really the beautiful essence of “imaginaria” – one picture, a thousand different stories.
